“I want to express my family’s need for the SAFE Grant funds if they should become available.
I have recently become a single mom of three small children, ages four (twins) and a six year old. All of my children have been in private school since pre-k. However on May 27, 2020 my life changed forever. I am a survivor of Domestic Violence which resulted in me having eye surgery, four broken bone, and a cast.
I am now in a very different financial situation and am not sure how I am going to be able to continue to keep daughters in the private school that they deserve and need. I am a 2nd grade teacher and this is my 18th year of teaching in a very poverty stricken community.
As a single mom of three small children who is also someone who serves the community as an educator, I am hoping for assistance should funds become available.”
