Getting the SAFE Grant approved means a lot for someone like myself and my daughter who attends a private school. When COVID-19 came around in March my hours got reduced tremendously and I wasn’t eligible to receive unemployment benefits which caused me not be unable to pay my daughter’s tuition. My daughter loves her school and is excited about 6th grade. Its her first year she still maintained her A+ average as she did while attending public schools and I would hate to have to pull her away from a place that will broaden her mind even more with the education she receives there. She loves their teaching structure and is more driven and can’t wait to start school in a few weeks. This Grant will mean a lot to me and my daughter and she’ll be happy to know that she can continue her education at the school she loves.
