SAFE Grant would be a tremendous help to my two children that are our foster children. They have gone through so many changes in their short life span. My girls are ages 14 & 6. They lost their mother unexpectedly 1 year ago after her rights were terminated. The father’s rights were taken as well. We have petitioned to adopt and we have recently moved to the South to give them a brand new start and a chance of a better life. Receiving the grant would give them a sound chance of educational growth. My two girls struggle with disabilities and a smaller close educational setting would give them the ability to catch up to their peers. It would also give them confidence they need to succeed in the future. Please consider these Grants and give my children a chance at a solid future.
