“SAFE Grants would be a tremendous asset for my two grandchildren that I am trying to send to school. I am retired, as well as my husband, and both of my grandchildren live with us. As such, this means we have to provide food, clothing, and transportation, as well as tuition payments for both of our grandkids in order to have them be able to attain a safe Academic-based school.
Sending both of them to school is very expensive on our social security income but we’re doing the best we can. Right now our biggest obstacle is finances. It is very very hard to make ends meet with just Social Security income but we still want the best for our grandkids and if we don’t provide it, nobody else will.
