I am a single mother with a child in college and a child signed up for a private school. I have to work to provide for my family. It is not good to leave a 13 year old at home to do school online for 8-10 hours a day with no supervision. Greenville county can make no guarantees that they will have in-person schooling on a regular basis. I cannot go week to week not knowing how many days my child will be allowed to go to school. Hence the decision to go with a private school education that is promising kids will go to school everyday which is what I need so that I can work. I really need this CARES Act money which would greatly help me afford to pay for his education. Please help us get this enacted for our kids and their families. Children need to interact with others and learn in person.
