I am a 60-year-old grandparent raising a grandchild without child support. I value my granddaughter going to private school so that she has a smaller class size and has more attention from a teacher with 13 classmates. I pay taxes like everyone else. Giving grandparents and parents a break during these Covid times when everyone is struggling would be a blessing!!! Everyone needs help every now and then. I am in hopes Grant money will come through because I am fighting the pandemic alone. I am also a healthcare worker doing my part with this pandemic!!
