We are a family of 4 including 2 Veterans with service-connected disabilities and 2 children under 6 surviving on 1 income, due to the impacts COVID-19 has had on the livelihood of the other parent (and the need for child care with kids out of school). A SAFE Grant would provide invaluable assistance for our family to afford private school to ensure our kids have access to an in-person learning environment and facilitate the ability for both parents to earn income.
