I am a 52 year old grandmother raising my 10 year old grandchild. I have managed to put her through private school all of her life and now I am forced to enroll her in a new (to her) public school due to this pandemic! How fair is it to her that she has to leave all of her friends and teachers that she has known her whole school life?? I understand a lot of parents don’t agree with giving private schools money, but in situations like this, we have never asked for any public handouts and would be grateful for any and all help you can give us!
