At the beginning of the summer we broke the news to the kids that we couldn’t afford to send them back to their beloved Christian school next year. 5 kids x 12 years of private school = DEBT, so we had peace about the decision though it broke our hearts. But our son and his best bud had other ideas. They are 2 peas in a pod and when they heard that they would not be able to finish out middle school together they decided that they were going to earn enough money for our son’s school tuition. They started a yard care business made some flyers and tshirts and worked their BUTTS OFF in the intense S.C. heat every day this summer. At first we were just humoring them. But they are DETERMINED and PERSISTENT and they have blown past their original goal and are now so close to having enough money to pay for the years tuition.
