This SAFE Grant would help our family. We have one child in college and one child in private school. I’m self employed by running a restaurant. I was out of work for 2 months but my husband was able to keep working during this virus. By being out of work and not having income it put us behind on paying our child’s private school tuition. This money would help was get back on track without us having to take money from our normal monthly bills. I know private school is a choice but I believe our child shouldn’t be punished from receiving help because we decided what type of schooling we wanted for her. I think it’s only fair that private school kids get help because public schools still get money from us because of all the taxes we have to pay for our property taxes, car taxes, and so on.
