J.M.’s Story

My husband is the administrator of a private school. I work in our admissions office. I have had countless conversations over the past few months with parents who are desperately in need of an in-class option for their children this fall. The reasons vary from fear over quality of education through virtual learning or fear of a loss of job due to having to stay home with their children. Grant funds allocated to aid these families would ensure a year of school that would allow these parents to maintain their jobs as well as maintain an excellent educational year for their children. These grants are an extremely wise use of funds that are to be used at the governor’s discretion.
