My husband is a truck driver and in the beginning of the pandemic had to stop driving because of loads not paying fair amounts. Just to give you an idea he was bringing home less than 20 cents per mile after operating expenses not including his food expense. As rates have increased he is now able to resume working but catching up is another story. Our daughter attends a private school where I also work. I get to go back to work next week but we are still struggling with what we will do without so our daughter will be able to continue her education at a school she dearly loves. This grant should we qualify would help tremendously as we get back on our feet by allowing her to get a quality education.
