My family came from Indiana where then-governor Mike Pence extended school vouchers and tax credits to families who could not otherwise afford a high quality education. Our four children ages six to 12 would love to receive an education at a private Christian school. We appreciate your desire to offer school choice to families regardless of their income during this difficult time. I’m sure powerful lobbying and interest groups will apply political pressure to force you to capitulate, but thank you for standing up for the students of our state. I know many 1,000 folks who attend the church where I serve as pastor would benefit from SAFE Grants.
