I was laid off due to the effects of COVID-19 on the retail indstry. Our children have attended an independent school for all of their schooling in SC. They may not be able to return to a school they have been safe, growing, and thriving in for as long as they have known because we will not be able to afford it without the SAFE Grant. The gravity of this pandemic has caused enough anxiety in children without the uncertainty of health risks and not being able to attend a school that will keep them safe and provide stability.
