Our family moved to SC 1 year ago due to poor education and bullying in public schools which has made all 3 of our children consider suicide. We have a child with an IEP and some learning disabilities. He has never known school can be fun and that he can make friends due to the bullying. A smaller school with caring teachers and kind students is what he needs. My anxiety over having to send my children to public school is overwhelming. I just want my children to feel happy and excited to get a great education. With this new private school (new to us), my children are super excited about going back to school and learning. This grant could very well make or break them. I fear for them should they have to attend public school. I just want my children to thrive and become all they can.
