As a mother of three school aged children the decision on how to educate them during this pandemic proves harder then any other year. Our family has been majorly affected in wake of this outbreak. We have lost our business and have struggled greatly. The ability to send our kids to a religious based private school seemed unattainable after all the losses we have suffered in 2020. When we learned of the governors decision to implement the SAFE Grants, it was as if our prayers had been answered. Our children are afraid to attend the public school. Its hard to flip a switch from being all about safety and isolation to explaining how it would be ok for them to be in a class with 25 students. Please allow us as a state and a community to have this help available. It will certainly benefit our family in ways that we could never truly put into words.
