The SAFE Grant would mean so much to my family. It would mean that I would not have to try to find a second job, because due to COVID-19, we are no longer getting any overtime hours that I relied on to help with my son’s tuition. I would be able to spend more time at home with my son. I realize that I have the option to send my child to public school BUT the high school in Jasper County was ranked 200 of 222 schools in 2018-2019 so it is not the best option for my child.
