C.S.’s Story

I am the sole custodian and caregiver of my children. The father of my children passed away three years ago making me the only financial provider for the children too. Both of my kids have a learning disability and need to attend a school that provides them with the resources they need to learn. My oldest is 8yrs old and has dyslexia and my youngest is 7yrs with a speech impediment and has ADD. During COVID, my work has dramatically reduced as a caregiver for elderly people making it very difficult to make ends meet. This grant would give them the opportunity to continue their education at a school that will teach them to read and write and set them up for a strong, successful learning foundation.
