My husband, a fire captain, and I, a newly graduated nurse headed to the front lines, made a point over a year ago to sacrifice whatever to send our child to a private South Carolina school. We will continue to sacrifice to give her the best chance possible to be successful in whatever direction her life takes her. The school she currently attends is 100 percent worth the sacrifice. The teachers and the staff have taught her resilience acceptance of every human kindness and humility. We were searching for the best education and are getting way more than we ever imagined. This grant would be a breath for my family during such a hard time and I am so thankful for the guidance and inclusion Governor McMaster is showing us!
