My son is a rising senior in high school and attends a beautiful little private school. As a single mother I have worked really hard to provide him with the best education possible but due to the virus my income has been impacted in numerous ways and we will struggle to pay tuition this year. It would be such a shame if my son had to transfer out of his private school where he is a state champion wrestler, trombone player, and 4.0 student simply because I can’t afford it this one year. He truly loves his school and wants to stay until he graduates! This grant would ensure that he can finish his education at the school of his choice. Also, his school is opening full time in August and is administering the SAT on campus, while public schools will not hold a regular schedule which I believe will put him at a disadvantage when applying to colleges.
