My husband and I both work full-time to pay our bills and put food on the table. We do not have the option to stay home and help teach our children. My 2 children are not old enough to stay home by themselves & therefore not responsible enough to sign into virtual learning. I had not choice but to apply for a private school that is offering face-to-face learning 5 days a week. In which I had to apply for financial aid. Even after FA money is applied, I am still trying to find a way to pay for my children’s continued education. Thankfully I have saved some money in their college 529 plans which will help. However I do not have enough saved in their accounts to cover the tuition in full. Nor was I expecting to spend their college savings on an elementary education. Receiving a SAFE Grant would be extremely helpful to my children and entire family.
