A.B.’s Story

I am a single mother of two boys that I adopted. My sons will be going into third grade and starting kindergarten. I am a respiratory therapist and I work third shift. There is absolutely no way that my children could obtain an appropriate education if they attended public school. My district will be operating on a two week face-to-face then two week e-learning rotation. They will then be re-evaluating every 6 weeks. I work several nights a week (12 hrs). There is no way that I can come home and help my kids do their school work and then return to work that night. I CANNOT work from home but I don’t want my children to fall behind because of the fact that I have to work.
