When I read about SAFE Grants, my first thought was, “Hallelujah! They get it.” We only have one out of 3 children left in secondary school, but we value the opportunity for our child to learn in a place where lessons are taught from a world view is like ours, where she receives personal interest and attention, where service and outreach are build into the curriculum, and where class sizes are small. This isn’t for everyone – no marching band, no big sports teams, etc. You really can’t generally have it “all” but I am grateful for the opportunity for my child to attend a school more tailored to her.
