Description

My son started private school in middle school. Here, they have magnet programs that only 60 kids get accepted at each school and we did not get in. We had to make it work . We go without to make ends meet. We live pay check to pay check and sometimes borrow until next check to get food. We have a old car and live in a very small home. Most kids are families who go without . We don’t make a lot and struggle each day, but my child is thriving in school and he never did before in public school. The one on one and small classrooms have made the biggest difference in my son’s life. This grant would mean so much and truly help us not drown each month. During Covid we have both lost a lot of our wages and still had to pay for school in order to keep his spot and the only way we have survived is to defer our house payment and student loan.
