Our two children go to private christian school because the public system no longer has what they need for daily learning. They have been attending a private Christian based school for many years. However, COVID is making it impossible to send them back this year. Our average cost is $8,000 for both children. This is for tuition ONLY. We still have to pay out of pocket for books and all other needed supplies. I have been out of work (I have 2 jobs) since April and my husband does small jobs to help with daily living cost. I was SO HAPPY when the governor included the private schools. We pay taxes too. It was demoralising to learn that the school district we live in are the ones opposing the governor. My family continues to pray.
