SAFE Grant would have a major impact on my family. I am a struggling widow who is having a major surgery in a couple of weeks. I have two sons that needs these funds to attend their school. Without the help they will have to home school this year. It has been even more difficult for me because of this pandemic and not being able to work a second job. Being awarded these funds would take so much stress and pressure off of my family and allow me a chance to get back on my feet and get my bills in order while my kids still get their education they were getting before this Covid-19.
