I am a mother of 4, 3 of which are in elementary school. Our school system here has decided to only offer a virtual option for this school year, meaning my husband and I who both work full time have to come up with a solution for childcare for the school year in order to keep our jobs. The expense during this pandemic has been overwhelming and we are not in a place to provide a tutor or a private education meaning we will have to rely on a babysitter or daycare center to facilitate a computer based education to my 6 7 and 8 year olds. Access to this grant could mean getting my children a quality education in a safe environment so my amazing children aren’t left behind in the most formidable years of their education. Thank you for thinking of the working families that need real help.
